Community Bike Center

We provide space for people to work on their bicycles, host "how to" clinics, reuse bikes and parts and this is also our event hub! We provide a lead volunteer during our hours of operation to help you find tools, parts and order needed parts. We hope to be open more as we grow and train lead volunteers.  The community bike center is funded by donations for bikes & parts, grants and sponsorships.  

Open Community Hours of Operation: 

Tuesday 5 - 7 pm

Thursday 5 - 7 pm

Community use of bike stands, tools, repair, order new parts - led by volunteer mechanics.

Mechanic Services for Hire:

Andy Baranovic is the in-house mechanic and offers bike repair by appointment.  Minor tune-ups, major overhauls and quick fixes. Call or text Andy for scheduling. 406-426-0769

We can accept bicycle, parts and monetary donations. Bicycles and parts must be brought during open hours or contacted in advance.  They must meet these parameters below, and please, no drop offs.

Parts:  no rust, no tears and we need to see before accepting them. 

Bikes: no rust, no damaged frames (dents, bends, rust unacceptable), must have intact parts. If it's been outside in the weather more than one year and you want to keep it out of the landfill, bring it in: we'll give you the tools to take it apart and recycle what can be recycled.  We cannot take junk, sorry.
